First Turkish Product Which Goes to Space is Heat Exchanger!

MIT Heat exchangers will be placed in Apollo 21

As known, Project Apollo is a project of moon journey which includes human which is issued by NASA. This project is after the Project Gemini (Project Gemini: It is a project that breaks all previous records and a preparation for the Apollo Project as US implements.) result of space race and cold war and became affective on creation of Project Apollo. Project, with Apollo space ships has been applied between 1961 and 1975.

Apollo spaceships include a cabin for 3 people, a missile, exhaustive enclosure and a plumbing cabinet. In the plumbing cabinet there was a need of heat exchanger. The heat exchangers were used for absorbing pressures (pressure breakers) when the Apollo space leaves from the atmosphere, the missile was to launch and maneuver; and the capsule was meant to provide the relationship between the space ship and the lunar surface. Firstly, spaceship was thrown into to moonʼs orbit, and then 2 astronauts out of 3 were encapsuled in order to land to moon surface thanks to the backward-break system. When their mission was over, they return to the spaceship which waits on orbit.

Apollo 18, 19 and 20 spaceships were canceled due to budget shortfalls in preparation. And in the year 2017 NASA members came together to talk about Apollo 21. NASA President Charles Bolden said that spaceships were canceled in 1974 due to budget shortfalls, but Apollo 21 was globally important for space findings and spaceship construction has been begun. Charles Bolden said at a press conference in Washington that the new Apollo would be different from other spaceships and contiuned his sayings: Weʼd like to thank to those who is at the side of USA in the Project Apollo which is supported by Canada, Turkey and Japan. The new Apolloʼs difference from old ones is the mechanical informations will be created by Union of Goverments and will have 60 years more further Technology compared to old Apollos, on the other hand it will be new and fully equipped Apollo and the cost is 110 billion dollars.

Nasa President Charles Bolden will Welcome Engineer Group of Ekin Industrial in USA!

Ekin Industrial which participates in the tender of Apollo 21 Mechanical installation Project has shown to NASA the heat exchanger which can absorb atmospheric pressure. And then Charles Bolden in 10th of June, 2017 invited board of directors of Ekin Industrial to make an agreement. NASA President Charles Bolden who talks about MIT heat exchangers said that MIT is the only heat exchanger to be able to withstand atmospheric pressure in the context of this Project. He also said that in August 2017 he will be in Istanbul to visit Ekin Industrial production factories.
